HC Deb 28 May 1906 vol 158 c39
MR. DOLAN (Leitrim, N.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that in the case of the holding of Patrick M'Glone of Aghanlish, Largydonnell, county Leitrim, the Estates Commissioners have used their powers under Section 19 of The land Act, 1903, to compel the tenant to sell for £193; that this price is thirty-one and a half years purchase of the rent fixed by the county court judge; and what steps does he propose to take in the matter.

(Answered by Mr. Bryce.) The Estates Commissioners inform me that the case in question is under their consideration, and they are not prepared to make any statement upon it until they have arrived at a decision as to what action they may take.
