To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if he can say whether the Estates Commissioners have approached Lord De Vesci, Abbeyleix, in connection with the sale to them of the 400 acres of untenanted land on his estate; and, if so, with what result.

(Answered by Mr. Bryce.) The Estates Commissioners inform me that they have approached the owner in this case and that the matter is under consideration.
