§ MR. CATHCART WASON (Orkney and Shetland)To ask the Secretary for Scotland if the Congested Districts Board will contribute towards the annual contribution required by the Post Office for a telegraph to Skerries, Shetland, provided the Post Office will agree to construct the same on the basis suggested by the Chancellor of the Exchequer.
(Answered by Mr. Sinclair.) On receiving a statement from the Postmaster-General as to the practicability and cost of the proposed extension, the Board will give the matter every consideration.
