MURPHYI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutentant of Ireland if he has taken any steps to secure for elementary education in Ireland any equivalent for the annual sum of £1,000,000 estimated as required for elementary education in England and Wales under the present Education Bill; and, if not or in any event, whether he can state what sum Ireland is entitled to as an equivalent for this sum.
