§ MR CHARLES CRAIG (Antrim, S.)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if he will state the number of holdings into which the farm of Patrick Carr, on the Dunsandle Estate of Mr. William Daly, containing 286 acres, has been divided, and the acreage, of each of the new holdings.
MR. BRYCEThe Estates Commissioners inform me that the farm which was occupied by Mr. Carr has not been divided into holdings. This farm was purchased as untenanted land for the purpose of enlarging holdings on the estate of Mr. William Daly, but was subsequently re sold by the Commissioners to the vendors in consideration of the sale by the vendors to the Commissioners of another large area of untenanted land comprising nearly 4,000 acres. This latter area has been divided by the Commissioners into 221 holdings.
