MR. MYER (Lambeth, N.)

To ask the President of the Local Government Board, what steps the Government intend to take during this Session of Parliament with regard to amending the Act relating to the unemployed, as promised in the King's Speech.

(Answered by Mr. John Burns.) The Government hope to introduce a Bill for the purpose of amending the Act, but I am not able to give any intimation as to what the proposals of the Bill will be.
