HC Deb 21 May 1906 vol 157 c921
MR. SLOAN

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, whether his attention has been called to the carrying on of lotteries in Ireland; and what action, if any, does he propose to take in enforcing the law in this respect.

(Answered by Mr. Bryce.) My attention has not been called to the carrying on of lotteries in Ireland, but upon this subject I may refer to the Answer given by the right hon. Gentleman, the then Attorney-General for Ireland, to a similar Question on the 28th April, 1903.†
