§ MR. O'DOWDI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord - Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that in the parishes of Greenagh and Riverstown, in the county of Sligo, there are 1,200 acres of waste land, most of which is let on the eleven months' system to non-residential graziers; and, if so, what steps, if any, the Estates Commissioners are prepared to take so that these wastes may be utilised for the enlargement of the many small holdings in the district.
§ MR. CHERRYThe Estates Commissioners are unable to identify the lands referred to in the Question; but if the name of the owner or agent of the estate is supplied to them, they will inquire into the matter.
