To ask the Secretary of State for India what is the value of the export and of the import trade between British India and Tibet during the last year for which official figures are available.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Morley.) The figures for the twelve months ending 31st March 1905 are, exports to Tibet, £79,539; imports from Tibet, £92,421; total £171,960. For the nine months ending 31st December 1905, the exports were £95,576, and the imports £111,578, or a total of £207,154.
