HC Deb 17 May 1906 vol 157 cc622-3
MR. W. T. WILSON (Lancashire, Westhoughton)

To ask the Postmaster-General whether complaints have been made with respect to the delay on telegraphic messages passing through the Bristol telegraph office; whether the timing and coding of messages passing through or emanating at, Bristol have been altered by official instruction in order to minimise delay; whether the transmission of telegrams at that office has been interfered with owing to the reduction of staff in the instrument room; and whether he will investigate the whole of the circumstances connected with the administration at that office.

(Answered by Mr. Sydney Buxton.) I have given the circumstances referred to by the hon Member my attention.
