I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War what is the annual cost of the troops stationed in Ceylon, Hong Kong, and in the Straits Settlements, respectively; and what is the amount of the annual contribution received from each of these Colonies.

I beg also to ask the Secretary of State for War what is the annual cost of the troops stationed in the West Indies; and what is the amount of the annual contribution received from the West Indian Colonies.
