§ MR. LONSDALEI beg to ask the President of the Board of Trade what was the quantity of Welsh steam coal exported to Germany during the year 1905; and whether he can state the quantity of such coal consigned to agents of the German Government for use in the Navy.
§ THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD as TRADE (Mr. LLOYD-GEORGE, Carnarvon Boroughs)The total quantity of steam coal exported to Germany from Welsh ports in 1905 was 304,737 tons. I am unable to state the quantity consigned to agents of the German Government.
