HC Deb 11 May 1906 vol 157 c39
MR. COGAN (Wicklow, E.)

To ask the Secretary to the Treasury whether Irish farmers who have purchased their holdings under any of the Land Purchase Acts will be loaned money by the Board of Works for buildings and other agricultural improvements, on the same terms and at the same rate as landowners (otherwise landlords) can borrow from the same authority for a like purpose.

(Answered by Mr. McKenna.) The reply is in the affirmative.
