HC Deb 10 May 1906 vol 156 c1464
MR. LONSDALE

To ask the Postmaster-General whether he has received a report that on the night of Saturday, the 17th February last, a postman attached to the office in Portadown arrived at the Great Northern railway station, with the mail bag in his possession in a state of intoxication; that, instead of delivering the bag at the post office, he went into the third class waiting room and threw himself on the floor, in which position he remained till 2 a.m.; and whether any notice has been taken by the authorities of this neglect of duty.

(Answered by Mr. Sydney Buxton.) I will make inquiry, and will communicate the result to the hon. Member.
