I beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury if there is any intention on the part of the Government to appoint a Select Committee, to be called the Estimates Committee, for the purpose of examining and reporting on one class of the Estimates precedent to the Votes being discussed in Committee of Supply, as recommended by the Select Committee on National Expenditure which reported in July, 1903.
