§ MR. REES (Montgomery Boroughs)To ask the Secretary of State for India whether the recent sanction accorded for the construction of the Raipur-Vizaga-patam Railway is to be accompanied by the construction of a harbour at the port of Vizagapatam.
(Answered by Mr. Secretary Morley.): The scheme recently sanctioned for the construction of a railway from Raipur to Vizianagram on the East Coast Railway is independent of the question of constructing a harbour at the port of Vizagapatam.
