HC Deb 03 May 1906 vol 156 c731
MR. MUNRO FERGUSON (Leith)

I beg to ask the Secretary for Scotland whether the police are unable to give the public protection from the bands of Gorman gipsies who constitute such a nuisance in Scotland.

MR. SINCLAIR

All complaints that have been received have been investigated, and my information is that the police have not failed to afford the public due protection. If the hon. Member will furnish mo with information as to instances to the contrary, inquiries shall at once be instituted.
