MR. CLOUGH (Yorkshire, W.R., Skipton)

To ask the President of the Board Education whether he can state the time per week that was actually occupied in imparting distinctively denominational instruction by the teachers or clerics, or both, in the so-called voluntary schools during 1901; and whether he can state in how many of these schools the time so occupied did not exceed half an hour, one hour, and one and a half hours, and in how many it exceeded one and a half hours per week.
