HC Deb 02 May 1906 vol 156 cc571-2
MR. BOLAND (Kerry S.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he has received a copy of the resolution and correspondence from the County Kerry Joint Technical Instruction Committee, dated February 16th, with reference to the contributions from the Department of Agriculture and the Congested Districts Boards to technical schemes in the congested districts of the county; and whether he will request the Commission of Inquiry into the working of the Department of Agriculture to look closely into this matter, so that effect may be given to the representations which have frequently been made on the subject by the Kerry County Council.

MR. BRYCE

I have received the documents referred to. The Question whether the Committee of Inquiry into the working of the Department will deal with the subject mentioned is one for the discretion of the Committee, to whom any representations on the subject may be addressed, either directly or through the Irish Office.
