HC Deb 01 May 1906 vol 156 c401
MR. O'GRADY (Leeds, E.)

I beg to ask the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies whether his attention has been called to the statement made on behalf of the Natal Ministry that Natal declines to seek the assistance of the Imperial Government in the settlement of the Native troubles; and, if a settlement is effected, by armed force, whether such settlement will be submitted for the consideration of His Majesty's Government and the House of Commons.

MR. CHURCHILL

I do not think I can with advantage add anything to the replies which I gave on this subject to the hon. Member for Blackpool yesterday.†
