HC Deb 29 March 1906 vol 154 c1507
CAPTAIN HERVEY (Bury St. Edmunds)

To ask the Secretary to the Admiralty whether the misconduct which would entitle the Admiralty to deprive an officer of any part of his pay or pension, under the Order in Council of the20th November, 1905, would include an action such as criticising either the policy of the Admiralty or any individual Member of the Board.

(Answered by Mr. Edmund Robertson.) I am advised that mere criticism of the policy of the Admiralty, or any individual member of the Board, could not be interpreted as misconduct, within the meaning of Section 7 of the Order in Council.
