HC Deb 28 March 1906 vol 154 c1259
MR. HILLS (Durham)

To ask the Secretary of State for War whether it is his intention to appoint Volunteer colonels to command Volunteer infantry brigades; and, if so, how many such appointments will be made, and what the War Office will require of the officers so appointed.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Haldane.) I am not at present able to give the full information required by the Question, except that it is intended in some cases to appoint Volunteer colonels.
