HC Deb 28 March 1906 vol 154 cc1252-3
MR. STRAUS (Tower Hamlets, Mile End)

To ask the President of the Board of Trade whether he will take steps to prevail upon the railway companies to publish their running powers in the same way as they were formerly published by Mr. Airey in his book of junction diagrams, so that the public may know the exact running powers of the various railway companies.

(Answered by Mr. Lloyd-George.) The Board of Trade have no authority which would enable them to require the railway companies to give the information desired, but I will bring my hon. friend's suggestion to their attention.
