WEIR (ROSS and Cromarty)I beg to ask the Secretary for Scotland if he will state whether the twenty-nine houses built by the Congested Districts Board at the Battery Park, Stornoway, as dwellings for fishermen, have yet been made watertight; and will he say whether these houses were passed as fit for occupation by Colonel Gore Booth, the engineer to the Congested Districts Board.
§ MR. SINCLAIRSteps have been already taken to have the defect referred to remedied. The houses have not yet been taken over from the contractor.
