HC Deb 23 March 1906 vol 154 c740
MR. J. WILLIAMS BENN

To ask the Secretary to the Admiralty how far Devonport will be affected by the new list of discharges still regarded as necessary in consequence of the new Naval policy; and whether, in view of what Devonport has already suffered in this regard, he will favourably consider its claim to be exempt from a further diminution of its dockyard population.

(Answered by Mr. Edmund Robertson.) It is not intended to make any further discharges at Devonport during the coming financial year. This does not, of course, apply to temporary entries.
