HC Deb 20 March 1906 vol 154 cc224-5
MR. PATRICK O'BRIEN

I beg to ask the First Commissioner of Works whether he is aware that the Members of the House consider that the charges in the hair-dressing department are too high; and whether he can do anything to reduce them.

THE FIRST COMMISSIONER OF WORKS (Mr. HARCOURT,) Lancashire, Rossendale

Yes; my attention has been called to this matter and, as I find that that piece of patronage is in my gift, I have been able to secure an immediate reduction of all the charges by one-half.
