§ MR. CLAUDE HAYI beg to ask the President of the Local Government Board whether he will receive the deputation from the Lambeth Board of Guardians with regard to his statement that the land for the purchase of which the guardians have sought the sanction of the Local Government Board, in order to establish a farm colony, is sour land which land agents and others have attempted to palm off on innocent town boards of guardians.
§ MR. JOHN BURNSI have not had any application from the Lambeth Board of Guardians to receive a deputation with regard to the statement referred to 81 They have, however, asked the Local Government Board to receive a Deputation to confer with the Board on the question of providing further accommodation for the indoor poor of the parish, and I am in communication with them on the subject.
