HC Deb 15 March 1906 vol 153 c1399
MR. HILL (Staffordshire, Kingswin-ford)

To ask the Secretary of State for War if it is proposed to equip the cavalry, mounted infantry, and infantry with the one-man range-finder; and, if so, how soon such equipment will take place.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Haldane.) A one-man range-finder is under consideration, and, as soon as a suitable instrument has been decided upon, the question of equipping the troops will be considered.
