To ask the hon. Member for the Eye Division of Suffolk as Church Estates Commissioner, what is to be the total cost of the new buildings now being erected for the Ecclesiastical Commissioners.

(Answered by Mr. Sinclair.) The information required by the hon. Gentleman is as follows:—

(Answered by Mr. Stuart-Wortley) The total estimated cost of the buildings which the Ecclesiastical Commissioners are erecting at Westminster is about £150,000. The offices of the Commissioners will not occupy more than about two-fifths of the whole, and the residue is arranged for letting, and is estimated to produce rents amounting to not less than £6,000 per annum.
