HC Deb 15 March 1906 vol 153 c1420
* MR. LEHMANN (Leicestershire, Market Harborough)

I beg to ask Mr. Attorney-General whether the new scheme for dealing with the funds arising out of the sale of Clifford's Inn has been settled, and when will it be made public; and what share of the said funds will be devoted to providing legal education in universities and institutions in London or the provinces.

THE ATTORNEY-GENERAL (Sir JOHN WALTON,) Leeds, S.

The scheme was prepared under the sanction of my predecessor. I understand there have been some difficulties attending its being put into practical operation. The fund is now being administered under a provisional arrrangement.
