HC Deb 14 March 1906 vol 153 c1239
MR. CHIOZZA MONEY (Paddington, N.)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will consider the advisability of including in the Workmen's Compensation Bill, promised in His Majesty's Speech, a clause to provide adequate compensation for child workers who, at the time of their injury, can only be earning a few shillings a week.

* THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR THE HOME DEPARTMENT (Mr. GLADSTONE,) Leeds, W.

The point has not been overlooked in preparing the Bill which I hope will shortly be introduced.
