HC Deb 14 March 1906 vol 153 c1221
MR. BELLAIRS (Lynn Regis)

To ask the Secretary to the Admiralty why the table as to guns to be ordered in the new financial year and ordered in previous years, which has been given in the Navy Estimates for many years past under Vote 9, Item F, has been omitted from the new Navy Estimates; and whether, having regard to the public anxiety which existed last year as to our reserve of heavy guns, be will say if this reserve has been or is being increased.

(Answered by Mr. Edmund Robertson.) The details referred to were omitted, because they furnished information as to the armament of new ships and reserves of guns which it is considered undesirable to publish in the public interest. It is not considered desirable, for the same reason, to make any statement in reply to the second part of the Question.
