I beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury whether he is in a position to state the decision of the Government in reference to the maintenance of the present restrictions upon the importation of live cattle from abroad.

A Bill dealing with the restrictions upon the importation of cattle is before the House, and the decision of the Government will be stated on the Second Reading of that Bill.
