§ MR. FIELD (Dublin, St. Patrick)To ask the Secretary to the Treasury whether he will explain the method of appointment to positions in the Colonial Audit Branch, under the Comptroller and Auditor-General, and what test these officials have to undergo before appointment; and whether the test is similar to that undergone by those appointed to positions in the other branches of the Home service.
