HC Deb 13 March 1906 vol 153 cc1071-2
MR. WILES (Islington, S.)

To ask the Postmaster-General whether he proposes to include within the reference of the Select Committee of Inquiry into the grievances of postal servants that portion of the staff known as porters; but, if not, will he investigate their claims in common with those of the stores and engineering staff, as promised by the late Postmaster-General.

(Answered by Mr. Sydney Buxton.) It will be for the Committee to decide whether they will consider the porters as one of the principal classes of Post Office servants.
