HC Deb 12 March 1906 vol 153 c909
MR. BRODIE

To ask the First Lord of the Treasury whether, in view of the number of Bills for the supply of power to different parts of the Metropolitan area which are before Parliament, or likely to be before Parliament in the near future, he has considered the advisability of appointing a Royal Commission to inquire into the whole subject; and whether he is able to announce any decision in this respect.

(Answered by Sir H. Campbell-Bannerman.) There is no intention of appointing a Royal Commission on this question.
