To ask the Postmaster-General if he will state the number of letters inwards and outwards, and parcels inwards and outwards, at Lerwick post office during the year ending 31st December, 1905, and the corresponding numbers for the year ending 31st December, 1890.

Letters delivered, 826,486; Letters posted, 710,320; Parcels delivered, 24,219; Parcels posted,-23,038. Year ended 31st December, 1905. Letters delivered, 1,689,636; Letters posted, 1,209,260; Parcels delivered, 86,143; Parcels posted, 75,920.
