§ MR. KEIR HARDIEI beg to ask the Postmaster-General whether he accepts the findings of the Telephone Transfer Committee of last year relative to the position of the employees of the National Telephone Company; and whether he intends to embody these in a Bill this session.
§ MR. SYDNEY BUXTONI propose, to accept the arrangements described in a Memorandum read by my predecessor in this House on the 9th August last† for giving effect generally to the recommendations of the Select Committee of last session with regard to the staff of the National Telephone Company. For reasons stated in Answer to a Question in this House on the 26th February ††, I do not propose to introduce a Bill dealing with the subject during the present session. The transfer will not take place until 1911.
