HC Deb 08 March 1906 vol 153 c610
MR. BENNETT (Oxfordshire, Woodstock)

To ask the Secretary of State for War whether, in some cases, the only accommodation provided at Chatham for married soldiers and their families consists of a single room for all purposes and, if so, whether he will take steps to see that this state of things is remedied.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Haldane.) The question of the accommodation for married soldiers at Chatham has been and is still receiving careful consideration in connection with the more general question of such accommodation at stations at home and abroad.
