HC Deb 07 March 1906 vol 153 c451
MR. CROMBIE (Kincardineshire)

I beg to ask the Secretary for Scotland when he intends to introduce a Bill for Scotch Education, and how the equivalent grants for aiding technical instruction, amounting to some £211,000, are to be dealt with in the meantime.

* MR. SINCLAIR

The question of what legislation may be necessary for the better organisation of education in Scotland is under consideration; but it is not probable that a Bill dealing with the subject will be introduced during the present session. The sum revoted for next year will be distributed in accordance with the provisions of a Minute to be laid before Parliament.
