HC Deb 07 March 1906 vol 153 c440
MR. ROSE (Cambridgeshire, Newmarket)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether, as a result of the inquiries made last year by the War Office of various district councils, with reference to securing suitable sites for the erection of cavalry barracks within their area, it is proposed to take any further steps in the matter.

MR. HALDANE

The question of the erection of any further barracks necessarily forms part of the general question of the future organisation of the Army, and, as I have already stated, I am not at present in a position to arrive at a decision on the general military policy.
