MR. MITCHELL-THOMSON (Lanarkshire, N.W.)

To ask the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies whether it is the intention of His Majesty's Government to secure that, under any constitution which may be granted to the Transvaal or Orange River Colonies none of those sentenced for rebellion to a term of disfranchisement shall be enfranchised before the expiry of such term.

(Answered by Mr. Churchill.) His Majesty's Government is not at present in a position to give information as to the details of these Constitutions.
