CATHCART WASON (Orkney and Shetland)I beg to ask the President of the Local Government Board if he will issue a circular to the local authorities to the effect that the Local Government Board will consider impartially any application from local authorities to limit the speed of motor cars within their respective districts.
§ THE PRESIDENT OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOARD (Mr. JOHN BURNS,) BatterseaI cannot undertake to issue a circular of the kind suggested, but my hon. friend may rest assured that any applications which local authorities may make to the Local Government 93 Board under the Motor Car Act will be impartially considered.
