To ask the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he can state how many skilled British miners who are earning good wages will weekly lose their employment through the imporation of Chinese coolies being stopped, natural shrinkage going on, opportunity having been afforded to coolies to break their contracts, and native labour seriously diminishing.
