HC Deb 01 March 1906 vol 152 c1267
MR. O'SHEE (Waterford, W.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he will make inquiry as to the claims made by the Waterford County Council and the Waterford Agricultural Society in 1905, to be recouped the expenses and losses incurred by these bodies in consequence of the introduction of the disease called epizootic lymphangitis into the county and city of Waterford, by Army horses brought from South Africa, and sent by the War Office authorities to the Waterford military barracks.

(Answered by Mr. Bryce.) I will make inquiry into this matter, but do not expect to be in a position to make a statement on the subject for some little time.
