HC Deb 29 June 1906 vol 159 c1256
MR. THOMASSON (Leicester)

To ask the President of the Board of Education, whether, in view of the current controversy upon education, and the complexity of the whole subject, he will arrange for a printed catalogue of the library of the Board of Education at St. Stephen's House to be prepared and made available at the earliest possible time for the use of the general public.

(Answered by Mr. Birrell.) The question of a catalogue of the Board of Education Library has, I know, been under consideration; but as the hon. Member's Question is only put upon the Paper today, and the library and office of the Board are closed to-day, being His Majesty's Birthday, I am unable to obtain the requisite information for giving an adequate Answer to the Question. If he will put it on the Paper again this day week I will endeavour to furnish a considered reply.
