To ask the Secretary of State for War if he can explain under what circumstances the band of the 1st Royal Irish Fusiliers performed a programme at Bray Head, county Wicklow, on Sunday afternoon, the 23rd ultimo; and whether military bands are fulfilling part of the Army Regulations in giving Sunday performances.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Haldane) Military bands are permitted to play on Sundays between the hours of 2 p.m. and 9.30 p.m., subject to certain special conditions.
