HC Deb 28 June 1906 vol 159 c1102
MR. JOHN ROCHE (Galway, E.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that injury is caused to education in Ireland by the delay in issuing the new arrangements for the building of national schools in Ireland; and whether steps will be taken to have these new regulations issued as soon as possible.

(Answered by Mr. Bryce.) I am well aware that there is great need for the erection of new national school buildings and the improvement of existing school buildings in Ireland; and the Irish Government is doing its best to accelerate the settlement of a scheme for that purpose.
