HC Deb 27 June 1906 vol 159 c933
MR. MARNHAM

I beg to ask the President of the Local Government Board whether, in view of the recent murder at Camberley, and still more recent murderous attacks in the same locality, the Government are considering the desirability of giving effect to the recommendations with regard to tramps, contained in the Vagrancy Committee Report, issued earlier in the session.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOARD (Mr. JOHN BURNS,) Battersea

The Report of the Departmental Committee on this subject is receiving the consideration of the Government; but it will not be practicable to propose legislation with regard to it during the present session.
