MR. HERBERT ROBERTSI beg to ask the Secretary of State for India whether the Report of the Committee appointed to inquire into the Excise Administration in India has been considered by the Government of India; and whether this Report, with a summary of the evidence, will be circulated to Members of Parliament before the debate upon the Indian Budget.
§ MR. MORLEYI have ascertained from the Government of India that the Report has not yet reached them, and that it is now not expected to be ready until at earliest the end of July.
